Debra Ramirez has had a love of singing from a young age. While in elementary and secondary school, she was a member of every choir possible. That love of music-making inspired her to pursue teaching. After receiving her Bachelor in Music Education from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 2012, Debra accepted a 6-12th grade Vocal Music teaching position at Saint Albert Catholic Schools and has been there ever since. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Music Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and has recently attained her Kodály certification. Debra is the director of the St. Peter's Festival Choir in Council Bluffs and a member of the Council Bluffs Evening Musicale.
When not teaching, Debra happily lives in Omaha and occasionally performs with community choirs.
