Taci Beam teaches trumpet and piano. She recently completed her bachelor’s degree in Music Education in December of 2020 at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Taci enjoys teaching music to young students along with performing in a variety of ensembles in the area. She loves the interaction and joy that piano offers along with the challenge of teaching other instruments to beginners.
Taci has performed with UNO’s Symphonic Wind Ensemble along with their top Jazz group and Heartland Philharmonic Orchestra. Most recently she has also been a member of Council Bluff’s Kainesville Symphony as a trumpet player. Growing up she took piano lessons from her mom and participated in festival with CBMTA. Taci is also a substitute teacher for the Omaha Public Schools looking for a permanent career in teaching music to young kids in an instrumental setting.
Taci has a love for music, teaching children, and a love for the Lord. She loves teaching because of the unending feeling of learning and watching students grow to their highest potential. Her desire as a teacher is to help students find their passion for music while being a social outlet to share her gift of music, and her love/appreciation for God.
Outside of teaching Taci enjoys baking, visiting family and friends, and performing with local groups.
